Planned business line · Own platforms in development and research
Data and intelligence.
East Africa’s next resource is its records.

The opportunity
A delivery receipt can tell a processor what arrived, a farmer what is owed and a lender what has been repaid. We plan to make those records useful, with permission from the people they describe.
GSMA reform scenario for 2030; not an AVERON forecast
PlannedData services for outside clients are planned. The farmer data platform, FarmGate and FieldSight are in development or research; they are not established commercial services.
East Africa now
Reach is growing; reliable records still take work
Uganda’s mobile connections provide a route to collecting records in the field. Government targets would raise e-government use from 9.2% to 40% by FY2029/30 and agency participation on UGHub from 37% to 73%. A registry still needs clear definitions, trained enumerators and a way to correct mistakes.33,88
Infrastructure depends on power and preparation
Raxio’s Namanve data-centre specification provides for up to 400 racks. Microsoft and G42 announced a USD 1bn Kenyan digital initiative in May 2024, including an Olkaria data centre; reporting in May 2026 described unresolved power and guarantee constraints. These are market examples, with no AVERON relationship.96,97,98
Traceability starts at the plot
Uganda’s agriculture ministry has commissioned coffee and cocoa farm mapping for EU deforestation compliance. A plot record has to connect to a farmer, a delivery and the evidence a buyer needs. AVERON plans traceability services around those practical records, with customer requirements checked before a system is built.72
Data protection is part of delivery
Client data work would require a defined lawful purpose, applicable PDPO registration, limited collection, access controls and retention rules. We plan to give farmers a plain-language explanation of what is collected and how it would be shared. Credit-related information would be shared only through an appropriate consent and compliance process.87,76

What AVERON will do
Stages describe the proposed sequence. Progress depends on the decision gate for each stage; no commissioning date is promised.
NowDevelopment / research
Build the farmer record
Develop the farmer data platform and FarmGate; investigate whether FieldSight can support field assessment. Keep research outputs separate from validated credit signals.76
Decision gateDocument the data model, consent process and field-validation method.
NextPlanned
Test services with defined buyers
Prepare registry, monitoring and traceability services for programmes and exporters. Agree the evidence required, who owns the records and how errors will be resolved.
Decision gateA scoped pilot, lawful data arrangements and an acceptance test.
LaterPlanned / subject to validation
Offer recurring intelligence
Consider analytics subscriptions for lenders, insurers, energy providers and fleet operators after methods have been validated against field evidence.
Decision gateDemonstrated accuracy, repeat demand and an affordable support model.
What the capability includes
Field collection and registries
Surveys, beneficiary lists, plot mapping and delivery records, collected with a correction process.
Satellite and climate analysis
FieldSight research uses satellite and rainfall records; any commercial decision tool would first need local validation.
Dashboards and reporting
Reports that show coverage, missing records and measured changes, with assumptions visible.
Collect with consent
Validate in the field

Report / correct

How it earns
These are proposed arrangements. Contracts, pricing, operating costs and any regulatory permissions would be confirmed for each activity.
Project contracts
Scoped field collection, registry, traceability and reporting assignments.
Subscriptions
Recurring access to a maintained platform or validated analytics product.
Reports and records
Agreed fees per verified report or record, subject to lawful use and contract terms.
The product is a useful, maintained service. We do not propose selling identifiable farmer records without a lawful basis and permission.76

How it connects
Agriculture supplies the first use case. Energy and mobility would add demand and equipment records. IT would maintain the platforms; Consultancy would help define the work before it is financed. Any later lender or insurer product depends on data quality and lawful sharing.
Define the buyer need, evidence standard, scope and commercial case.
The diagram describes the proposed group model. External services would address exporters, lenders, insurers and programmes under appropriate contracts.
We welcome discussions around a defined project, capability or delivery need. The structures below are starting points for discussion, not an offer of securities or a promise of returns.
