How we use sources

Every number on this site comes from one of these sources or from a clearly marked AVERON estimate.

  • Official and institutional sources first; press reports where they quote an official figure.
  • Where sources disagree, we say so and use the more conservative figure.
  • AVERON estimates are simple and reproducible: today’s measured value grown with population and a stated rate.
  • Internal documents are available to partners on request.
